Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the in.tro website and product. It explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. in.tro turns your professional relationships into warm introductions for fundraising, sales, and recruiting.

We use LinkedIn OAuth to authenticate you. When you sign in, LinkedIn shares your basic profile information with us: your name, profile photo, and public LinkedIn handle. We use this to create your account and identify you inside the product. We never receive your LinkedIn password.

• Your data is NOT shared by default. By default, you can use the extension anonymously and the data about your connections will not be shared with us - it will stay local. Only if you choose to sign-up for the app, will your graph data be exported.
• Graph data. Once you sign in, we pull your professional relationship graph from the extension, our graph data provider. This powers the core product: mapping who you know and who they know, so we can surface warm introduction paths.
• How it's used. Your graph data is used only to render your network inside the product and to identify introduction paths for you. We do not sell or share your graph data with third parties, and we do not use it for advertising.

in.tro includes an AI-assisted introduction-drafting feature. When you use it, relevant context (such as the two profiles involved and any notes you provide) is sent to Microsoft Azure OpenAI for processing so the copilot can draft an introduction message. We do not use any other AI vendor. Copilot request content is not retained by us after the response is returned.

If you join the waitlist on the early-access page, we collect the information you submit: your name, email address, LinkedIn profile URL, and (optionally) your X profile URL. We use this only to manage the waitlist, contact you about your access status, and improve the product. We do not share waitlist submissions with third parties or use them for advertising.

If you purchase a membership, payment is processed by our payment provider. We do not store your full card number on our servers.

• Your full payment card number

We keep your account and graph data for as long as your account is active. Waitlist submissions are kept until you request deletion. Copilot request content is not retained after the response is delivered.

You can ask us to delete your account and any associated data at any time. Send a request to the contact address below and we will remove it within 30 days.

in.tro is not intended for people under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. We will not retroactively apply material changes to data already collected.
